5 /5 Fiaz Choudry: What a hidden gem! Lahore Village serves traditional Pakistani food at the highest level. The food was absolutely amazing — I was with someone who doesn’t like food too spicy, and they kindly prepared a lamb karahi mild, which was perfectly balanced and full of flavour. The staff were really friendly and accommodating, and the service was excellent from start to finish. The whole experience was relaxed, welcoming and enjoyable. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic Pakistani cuisine done right. Glad to have found it.

5 /5 Robert: An absolute hidden gem! This Pakistani restaurant completely exceeded my expectations. The aroma hit me the moment I walked in that perfect blend of spices instantly made me hungry. The food is bursting with authentic flavour, I had their signature chicken rice, some freshly baked bread, and the most delicious rice pudding I’ve ever tasted. Every bite was rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. Although I haven’t tried their fried rice or lamb dishes yet, they looked incredibly tempting. I’m already planning my next visit. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked so fresh and full of flavour. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, and the service is exceptional, you could truly feel their warmth and sincerity in every detail. I was also really happy to meet Osama and Imran (forgive me I might spell wrong), we had a great conversation, and I genuinely feel that we’ve become good friends, like brothers. Their kindness, friendliness and genuine hospitality made the whole experience even more memorable. The restaurant is spotlessly clean, cozy, and has such a friendly, homey atmosphere that makes you feel instantly comfortable. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their amazing dishes. It’s rare to find a place that feels this genuine in both taste and service, I’m sure this will become one of my regular go-to spots in London.

5 /5 Lucy Bambers: Absolutely amazing. The service was amazing, the food was perfect, with generous portions. The best desi food I had in London. I couldn’t recommend it more. We got the channa dal, chicken karahi, saag, garlic naan, tandoori paratha and aloo paratha.

5 /5 Sahil Ali: Really good food. We had the lamb shank, which was incredibly tender, along with freshly made naan and paratha that smelled amazing. The staff were so hospitable and friendly. To finish off, we got a mango lassi and masala chai, and they even gave them to us for free! (The only suggestion Id make is to turn the music off or replace it with nasheeds.)

5 /5 July Monday: One of the best meals I have ever had. The Saag Gosht (bone-on lamb with spinach and garlic, £11.99) with butter naan (£1.50) served with yogurt sauce is simply masterful cuisine. Words fail to describe the sensation I felt as I took the first bite – I closed my eyes, wanting to savour the rich umami gravy mixed with succulent slow-cooked lamb. Rarely have I ever felt sad when I finished a meal – I wished it to go on forever. Luckily, the simple dessert of Kheer (rice pudding with saffron, £3.49) was just as good as the main – not too sweet, perfectly satisfying. (I am licking my lips as I write this.) A family-run business, the fabulous host told me that these Pakistani recipes were passed down from their grandmother, who opened one of the first restaurants serving this kind of food in the UK. You can feel the love in every bite of the food. If you are unfamiliar with this cuisine, PLEASE don’t hesitate to ask for recommendations – my meal was entirely advised by the warm and professional staff. I can’t thank them enough for this excellent meal. The dining area is simple but bustling with regulars who come in and order exactly the right dishes. Every single one left with a satisfied expression. I would happily try every dish on this authentic menu. But don’t take my word for it. I cannot recommend this inexpensive, spectacular restaurant higher – but do yourself a favour and just try it. (And if you’re disappointed, I’ll buy your dinner and eat it myself.)
