Ralphie This was my venue of choice for our Sunday lunch before leaving London to head home. May I pat myself on the back? A cracking old pub serving excellent food, across our group we had three different roasts with all of them receiving praise. The service was brilliant and I really have nothing but praise for the staff, food and drinks. Try it out.

S M Had a fantastic experience at Royal Nawaab in Ilford. The food was excellent with a huge variety to choose from, and everything we tried was fresh, flavourful, and well presented. The buffet was constantly being refilled, and the dessert selection was just as impressive. The staff were attentive and organised despite how busy it was, which made the evening feel smooth and enjoyable. Great atmosphere for families or celebrations. Definitely worth the visit and I’ll be coming back.

Lottie Det First time eating Argentinian food, but we love meat. Everything was delicious! Wine and desserts as well. Our waiter Madda (Sardinian like us!) is very experienced and professional, we felt warmly welcomed from our first steps into the restaurant, half an hour before we actually realised we were all Sardinians! Hind Dr I like writing reviews about the places I visit because reviews have often helped me choose where to go. When I decided to write this review, I noticed that some people rated this place 2 or 3 out of 5, which honestly surprised me because my experience was extremely good. I couldn’t stop talking about this restaurant to my friends and my husband. The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavour. I’m someone who understands taste and cooking techniques, and I’m quite good at cooking myself. I can usually tell what kind of butter or oil is being used, and to be honest, I don’t like eating out very often. A friend suggested we have breakfast here and said, “You won’t regret it.” And she was absolutely right , I didn’t regret it at all. Everything was perfect for me. It was my first visit, and I tried the English breakfast with sausage, toast, fried eggs, beans, and mushrooms. Afterwards, I had French toast for dessert. Everything was amazing and very delicious. The place itself is pretty, clean, and welcoming. Moreover, the price was very reasonable. The three of us spent £45, including coffee, tea, and generous, high-quality breakfasts that felt both healthy and satisfying.

Gurkiran Kaur have great noodle burgers! only downside is it takes about 30 mins to prepare, so do call in advance. they used to have great golgappes, but they no longer taste like they did before which is unfortunate. the restaurant also looks much better with their new renovation.

Fiaz Choudry What a hidden gem! Lahore Village serves traditional Pakistani food at the highest level. The food was absolutely amazing — I was with someone who doesn’t like food too spicy, and they kindly prepared a lamb karahi mild, which was perfectly balanced and full of flavour. The staff were really friendly and accommodating, and the service was excellent from start to finish. The whole experience was relaxed, welcoming and enjoyable. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic Pakistani cuisine done right. Glad to have found it.
