4 /5 Snow Boat: Quiet atmosphere with beautiful decor and top-notch service. The food is delicious but comes in small, tapas-sized portions, so expect to order multiple plates. Its a bit pricey for the amount of food you get, but the experience and the great wine list make it worth a return visit.

5 /5 Emily Osborne: Fantastic lunch at Oxtwo. Friendly staff, accommodating our parties requirements and utterly delicious food. Every plate was beautifully presented and fairly priced. Even the childrens menu was on point. The restaurant itself was clean and had a lovely feel. I can imagine on a busy evening the atmosphere inside is wonderful. Great job guys. Sad to live too far away to travel to regularly. Definitely worth a visit. 5* all round

5 /5 Janie Heard: Great wine and tapas bar. Different and interesting wines by the bottle and various sized glasses. A mish mash menu combining many different influences but all promptly and beautifully served. Real highlights were the ceviche and a cheese (shared!) toastie. But all delicious.

5 /5 Chris Grieve: Great friday night dinner at OxTwo. Good selection of dishes - ranging from classic tapas to more unusual options like the Birra Fries. All the dishes were tasty and well presented - our favourite was the Chicken Liver Brulee with toasted sourdough. Nice atmosphere, good service, would definitely recommend.

4 /5 Aaron Frith: Aesthetically, OX2 gets it right — chic, leafy, and quietly stylish, with a wine selection that leans confident without being flashy. It’s the kind of place you want to want to love. But beneath the surface, there’s a service gap that’s hard to ignore. You queue at the bar (often unattended), pour out your order, and then wait for someone to uncork your bottle without much ceremony — no tasting, no table service, no charm. Just a handover and a quiet hope you’ll carry it all back to your table without dropping a glass. Meanwhile, staff are visibly active — watering plants, hoovering leaves — which is lovely in theory, but feels like a strange prioritisation when guests are awkwardly loitering at the bar. There’s potential here, and I’d come again for the vibe and wine, but a bit more hospitality wouldn’t hurt.
