3 /5 Emma Holmwood: Update: I have reduced to 3*. So disappointed, we ordered and were overcharged. I had presumed there had been another price increase but when the new menus came with our order the prices were the same. I called straight away but was informed it was the drivers last delivery and was going home (around 9pm) and that a credit note would be added to our account. The next time I called I asked for my credit note only to be greeted with complete denial of any kind of system regarding credit notes and that the manager would call. I said we were hungry so how long would this take? Glad I asked as the manager was not due until the next day! Which was irrelevant as no one has ever called. Only £6.25 but we will not be ordering again. So sad as the food was delicious.
Original review: Best Indian for Many Months, really tasty and filling. I did make my own coconut rice but under £20 for two. The Sheek Kebabs were deliciously spiced, the Pakoras were lovely juicy chicken and went up a level when dipped in the dressing. Plenty of coconut in the Nan bread and not too sweet. There were plenty of prawns in the Korma and lots of sauce which was delicately spiced and sweet. When I called the chap was very friendly and helpful on the phone, took down our slightly complicated address easily and the driver found us no trouble, who was also very jolly and friendly and the food was piping hot.
