1 /5 Ben Aungkon: The food was just okay at best, but the service and overall experience completely ruined the evening. We were seated right next to the entrance where the door didn’t shut properly, leaving us freezing every time someone came in or out. When we asked to move, we were told that all other tables were reserved, even though we had also made a reservation. Apparently, the restaurant “doesn’t check reservations after 4 PM,” which somehow became our problem.
When ordering, things got even worse. My girlfriend and I asked for two iced coffees and I ordered seafood spaghetti with calamari. The server told my girlfriend not to have the coffee because it “might upset her stomach.” We appreciated the concern, but still wanted the drinks. Then we were told they had no seafood available because the chef was “too busy on the grill.” Instead, we were steered toward other dishes.
When our food arrived, our drinks were nowhere to be seen. We asked multiple times and were repeatedly told “it’s coming.” I actually finished my meal before the coffees ever showed up. Finally, after asking again, the server offered to give them to us in takeaway cups. At that point, we just agreed. What we got was not even an iced coffee, it was clearly a hot Americano with a few ice cubes thrown in. The cup was still hot, and within seconds, the ice melted, leaving us with lukewarm coffee.
Overall, a very bad experience. Poor service, disorganized management, and average food at best. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
