Gabriealla Lee We went there yesterday for their lunchtime deal. Pleasantly surprised by the food we received. It was delicious and finger licking good. Ordered sea bream with boiled pots and veg. Did have a sneaky apple pie and custard which, was not on the lunchtime deal, but it was well worth it. The fish was well seasoned without being salty and to top it all you could have a drink, alcoholic or not. Service was impeccable and friendly. Definitely will be treading through their doors, again!

Marianne Caldwell When a place does the simple stuff so well you know it’s good. All I had was the steak rare and on its own with wine. This was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. I had madeleines which were very kindly delivered for the birthday at the table and these were frankly the most beautiful madeleines I have ever had. Add that we came here because it dog friendly and it’s safe to say my business has been secured for years to come.

Romain Prodhomme Very tasty, fresh food!! We had club sandwiches and smoothies. So good!! Maya was very sweet and attentive, even though she was on her own during a busy hour or so. Her level of service and the quality of food was still top notch. Highly recommend!!

Rupert Harvey Had a fantastic dinner at Roxie and cant recommend it enough! From the moment we walked in, we loved the cozy, rustic atmosphere. It felt very personable and homey. The service was impeccable - super quick and incredibly friendly. The staff were attentive and efficient, getting us seated and served promptly. The food was the star of the show! We started with cocktails, and my "Sevillian Swinger" was absolutely delicious. It was so refreshing and had a great kick of elderflower, which is often hard to find in cocktails. For our mains, I ordered the sirloin, and it was cooked to perfection. Beautifully tender with a wonderful sear, and the chimichurri was outstanding! It had the perfect amount of spice, something that many chimichurris lack. We also shared the mac n cheese, which was wonderfully saucy and packed with truffle flavour - a truffle lovers dream! The grilled crust added a delightful crunch. For two people, including two cocktails, two small glasses of Merlot, and an extra side, the bill came to £109. Considering the quality of the food and the overall experience, this felt like excellent value. I cant wait to go back to Roxie to try the burgers and the Sunday roast!

Charlie A great choice for a family brunch / lunch - lots of great choices for seating, relaxed, unhurried and really warm service! There was genuinely something for everyone on the menu - the add ons and extras were generous portion wise and these felt like decent value for money. The childrens menu was from about £12 but again portions good and ingredients good quality. Coffee was superb, food was excellent and staff lovely. The whole place was pristine (including the toilets!) and we felt really comfortable throughout our lunch. Next time we would consider the bottomless drinks options ... £25 for 90mins!

M Y We had an amazing time at the heart of Balham today. It was a perfect place for us to unwind after rushing around during a busy afternoon. The food was so fresh and made to such a high standard. My omelette was absolutely amazing, the shakshuka was the best we had tasted. Our late lunch was so satiating that we didnt need to even buy dinner later (helped us to save money too hehe). The tap water came with ice that was refreshing, and the English tea was made so well it smelt aromatic. The staff were accomodating, welcoming and friendly too. I was blown away by my experience. I highly recommend.
