4 /5 Twisted Visions: Rarely im impressed by places but was pleasantly surprised. Went on a sunday for some pub grub and the food was all really nice, no complaints there. Table service was really good very friendly and attentive however the bar staff was less friendly, nothing major jus was a bit short and abrupt when asking about what drinks were stocked. 5 /5 Dave and Becky Waterman: Have eaten here twice now as we are soon moving to the area and these have been to see houses. Amazing food, lovely building as the barn and helpful friendly staff. Plenty of space, we reserved both times but didnt need too. Sunday roast had by parents was very generous and well priced.

5 /5 Kelly Stolten: Recieved a free meal for my birthday, so did my partner as ours are close to eachother ( buy one main get one free ) .. decided to go to my closest one , I must say it was very nice. I had the smash burger. Very big burger and very yummy? My partner had the sausage and mash and said it was very nice. Zoron( GM) was kind enough to get kitchen to do me some Coleslaw even though they didnt have it on the menu. And even gave us a free drink our my birthdays. Staff friendly and atmosphere was good. Food was lovely.. And the onion rings were massive. And tasty.. recommend.

4 /5 Troy Clank: great fish and chips, and there was a good garden area. Plenty of parking spaces, large projector TV. Good food. Clean toilets, nice friendly staff, clean establishment.

5 /5 Jim Choi: Stopped for ev charging, the thai was fully booked, wasnt sure about the pub in front. But we wandered in. Friday and a bank Holiday busy with dj setting up. We went upstairs as it was a little quieter. Find a table order at the bar. What is possibly our 1st Shephard name pub. Order cheese straws and scotch egg as starters. The cheese straws were really tasty dipped in the tomato chutney. Scotch egg was accompanied with a mustard mayonnaise. The egg on the right side of firm with a little runniness. Delicious. The mains were fish and chips, chicken burger and a side of onion rings. The main bar was getting quote busy but the staff are very friendly. The fish and chips was a surprise the size of the haddock fillet. Ok down south so pea puree not mushy peas. A lovely charred lemon for the acidity. Chips were skin on fries as its not a chippy. A homemade tartar sauce. The chicken fillet was a huge piece with korean gochujang sauce. Impressive burger and big portion of fries. Onion rings proper ones homemade. The quality of the food was really good I even posted the fish and chips on the fish and chips Facebook page it deserved to be on there. I didnt even finish the chips such a good price £17.95. As it was late no one queuing for the chargers we finish soon after. Sauntered over noting it would be a pub we use for meals no hesitation. And great staff!
