Cabotte - (Near City of London, South East)

5 /5 Georgia: We had our elopement wedding dinner here in September. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. The upstairs private dining room is a great option for any celebration. We were able to play our own music which didnt affect diners downstairs.

5 /5 Parker Callister: Lovely place with an intimate feel. Delicious food. My lunch mates had the fish, I had the risotto. All were pleased. Attentive but not intrusive service. Nice wine list, with excellent by the glass offerings as well as a nice selection of bottles.

5 /5 Louise Hickey: A truly wonderful place to eat and drink created by head chef Elliot Miller and his fantastic team. A varied, interesting, seasonal menu, with every dish cooked to perfection, all with interesting and incredibly well balanced flavours. The beef tartare, dill oysters and duck breast were stand out for us, but everything was so good it is hard to pick favourites! The Sommelier was very knowledgeable and friendly and helped us to pick a wonderful bottle that would hold up to all of our dishes. The front of house team were all extremely attentive and warm and we just had the best evening all round visiting Cabotte! I would highly recommend a visit!

5 /5 Bobby Wang: If you were looking for a formal French restaurant with non-arrogant service, this was definitely the best choice. All service staff were friendly and positive. They also seemed very professional in providing wine and food recommendations. The environment was perfect. The oysters and sweet shrimps were handled very cleanly. Foie gras and duck were served as an appetizer and were very unique when paired with sauce. The raw beef was cut very thinly and presented beautifully. The two main dishes, beef and fish, felt a bit fusion and were a little bit less tender for me. Overall, it was a restaurant worth visiting.

1 /5 Clarie ZHANG: There was a live insect, moving in a drink, and the solution the restaurant provided was just quickly taking the insect out and gave it back to us. Appalling service!!!! They also put extra more item on our bill which we didn’t order… added up to be horrible service. I would avoid this restaurant. Food is very mediocre. We ended up leaving earlier than we planned. ** The reply from the restaurant is nonsense, we won’t randomly accuse you of “simply remove the insect”. Please don’t try to fool us. ** Plus we don’t think got the bill wrong and corrected it until we ask for is something to be very proud of.
