Black Queen A Masterclass in Flavour and Heart — Rapchar is My New Favourite! Oh my days — this place has officially taken the number one spot on my foodie list, and trust me, I’ve been to a few. I started with the scallops and honestly? Absolutely exquisite. Perfectly cooked, bursting with flavour, and beautifully presented — everything on that plate earned its place. That’s the key here: so much freshness, so much flavour, and zero filler. For my main, I had fish with prawns, served with a cauliflower foam that completely blew me away. You could actually taste the cauliflower — light but still with body, and the flavour balance was spot-on. It was the kind of dish that manages to be both comforting and high-end dining at the same time — pure talent. The presentation across every plate was exceptional. You could tell real care had gone into every detail. The mac and cheese side was rich, creamy, and deeply satisfying — proper comfort food but refined. I didn’t even reach for the salt and pepper once (and that says a lot). I had sorrel to drink — rich, vibrant, and packed with flavour — the perfect pairing to cut through the richness of the dishes. I’ve never had sorrel like it (sorry, Mum). Unfortunately, I didn’t have room for dessert — tragic, I know — but that just gives me an excuse for next time. The service was exceptional — food arrived quickly, staff were polite and genuinely lovely, and the vibe was relaxed, friendly, and unpretentious. Even though the restaurant was full, the layout made it feel intimate, with a warm, family atmosphere. My only downside? When the chef came out to greet everyone, I did what any self-respecting foodie would do and offered him my hand in marriage. Sadly, he declined. I can only assume that i was at the back of a very long queue, because his food was slamming. Rapchar nails it: high-end food, comforting flavours, zero pretence, and genuine hospitality. I’ve already booked my next visit, because once is simply not enough! Well done, Rapchar — you’ve set the bar sky-high.

Blin & Gray This is now the second time weve ordered home delivery from India Summer. The website portal is easy to use. the online discounts code applied immediately. When I needed to change the order, a very helpful person answered the phone and made the additions without extra charge. They delivered very quickly (even on a Saturday), and again with very friendly staff. Oh yes, and the food was great. but it was the customer service that won the day! Thank you for a great evening

Zoe Katzayiannaki Absolute perfect! True Greek experience (the good way)! We tried the cold tortilla wrap with chicken gyros and it was so fresh and light. Real contender! Please try also the freddo espresso and the freddo cappuccino, in Greece is the main coffee choice and its worth it against the cold brew and the simpler iced coffee. We are definitely coming back!

Leaburn Loved the food. Had the Everest curry with rice. Filled me up and lovely spices to the food. Service was quick and friendly. Gurkha beer is delicious and so was the lassi. Nice atmosphere inside. A great place for Nepali cuisine. Price was really good.

Built to Roam Safe to Eat Lovely location lovely view lots staff lovely coffee shop BUT the maturing the jewellery when asked a question was rude saying she was concentrating and made no effort to talk to us. So she made a bad example in all the staff. We walked out

Larisa Wallis I had my birthday dinner at the Holiday Inn Meadow restaurant in Worth, Gatwick. The place looks stunning, contemporarily refurbished and busy for Tuesday evening which was reassuring. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco and olives & pizette as a starter followed by three steaks as a birthday treat - lamb ramp, ribeye and fillet. All came out looking perfect and tasted superb. The meal was accompanied by a great customer service of the team - George, Sarah, Charlotte and Yasmin - who have made a great effort in serving us and even brought me a birthday brownie surprise with a “happy birthday” song! That was a lovely touch! Thank you all for your outstanding service and friendly welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to others for dinners / special occasions.
