Andy Weston Fantastic example of early 19C design and construction as a domed glass and metal framed conservatory on a bath stone base. The dome is 38 feet in diameter and the entire frontage is 230 feet. Mainly used as a wedding venue now, the domed centre section is kept empty, however the wings are still used to display plants. The design and techniques used to construct this building were a precursor to later structures such as Paxtons Crystal Palace.

Don Grose Its unusual as a park because it more functions as a walk or cycle route between Brentford High Street and the Thames at Old Isleworth. Its also multi function with a garden centre, play centre, hotel and historic house to visit. The actual park land is restricted to a strip of grassland that runs parallel to the entrance road with that section available for general use and another section on the north side of the road visible but not accessible. Overall its varied and interesting place to visit, albeit you might be going more to visit one of those services than the park itself.

Uzo Amaka An amazing day out, walking the trail and having fun in the playground. The trail is well signed and we enjoyed some crunchy conference pears during our walk. There’s a beautiful lake to sit and enjoy the tranquil waters and the amazing Cedar tree in the middle of the grounds. Parking is available and park is close to train and bus routes.

Stephanie Cadell Beautiful house and not what you expect inside from the exterior. Loads of history with very knowledgeable but not boring guides. You could spend several hours just looking at everything in the house. All the guides were friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable in particular, Stevie B really stood out. He had a wealth of knowledge but also made it fun and gave the group a few laughs, in comparison to guides at other house we have been to he was a breath of fresh air. Really great day out and we will be coming back to explore the bedrooms as we didn’t have enough time to wait for the tour today

Xing Yu Yi Very pleasant green area, with large enough pieces of land to enjoy outdoor leisure activities and sports, as well as having good playground equipment, like wooden climbing apparatuses, a sandpit, and swings. It also has a small pond inside, which is quite nice to look at from time to time. Definitely would recommend when coming on a sunny day!

Juliet Faraj Absolute gem! We loved our visit here! The day we visited was a steam up day so all the incredible engines and pumps were working, including a steam melody maker! Little steam train running for the kiddies too. All the volunteer staff very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. Great displays educating about water supply, disease, greedy utility owners ... all very thought provoking

Babji Vundavilli Clitheroes Lock 99 is a small waterway located between Windmill Bridge and the Grand Union Canal (Grand Junction Canal, Main Line, Gayton to Brentford). For the past four years, I have been running on this canal path. Its a great spot for runners and walkers, always loved. It was just along the Grand Union Canal.
