What Clients Are Saying Aldbourne Coffee Shop/Cafe (GG)
5 /5 Vince Shepherd: What a fantastic little place! The food is absolutely delicious. I have stopped here a few times when I am out with friends riding dirt bikes on the trails. It has a great little post office and a lovely little cafe/bistro, and the deli counter has such a variety of homemade goodies. I do highly recommend the spicy chili sausage roll. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. It is set in a lovely little country village. I have to say, it is a cool, cool place.
5 /5 Mallory Holt: We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Aldbourne Cafe, and would strongly recommend it to anyone in need of a delicious and well-priced meal, and a lovely atmosphere (with a wee garden cat you might catch a glimpse of!). The cafe menu featured English classics and a variety of delicious Turkish savory dishes, and the deli counter had a lovely array of savory and sweet treats that if we werent stuffed from breakfast we definitely would have gotten.
The staff were kind and attentive, and the cafe space is cosy and delightfully decorated; the adjacent garden space looked so wonderful that we strongly considered sitting outside despite the snow on the ground. We couldnt recommend it higher!
5 /5 Aliki Moysiadi: Perfect little find! The space is quaint and had a community feel. We had the ham, egg, and chips as well as the smashed avocado on sourdough. Really top quality food, we enjoyed it very much. I would definitely go back.
5 /5 Steve Aleppo: This cafe does everything right. High quality food and drink, home made with skill and love, extremely competitively priced, in a wonderful setting with fabulous service. Do try the shakshuka - its incredible! Were delighted to have discovered it and will look forward to visiting whenever were in the area.
Jon Townsend We had Sunday lunch at the Bell and it was a delight. Large portions of incredibly tasty food both meat and plant based. Good service and lovely village it sits in. Would recommend.
Terri Collins Lovely place to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. The service was great and the food was lovely.
They even gave us a complimentary glass of cava for our anniversary.
The only slight thing was it was a little bit chilly in there.
We would definitely recommend this place.
Daniel Lane Pub grub at its flavoursome, big-portioned, piping-hot finest. We had a wander round the stones at Avebury and topped up on some spiritualism, and this was the slap up delicious hot dinner we needed to see off the cold December day. Fire was burning, the pub dog was very welcoming, and the staff were lovely. 100% recommend. It even has a book exchange. Top stuff.
Thomas Eldridge An absolute gem we stumbled upon accidentally. Food was excellent, as was the service. Hasan was a fantastic host, and is obviously a great example to his staff, who were all first class.
I hope to be stumbling past there again very soon
