5 /5 sophia: we had the loveliest visit this easter sunday - we ordered two (massive!!) roasts and left stuffed!! the food was delicious and the view was even better!! their garden is huge and full of tables on both levels and the view is just stunning. a real hidden gem just 15mins from oxford, with plenty of circular walks around the local countryside (there is a map outside the pub). a 10/10 pub in a gorgeous small town - can highly recommend! thank you so much to all the team!!

5 /5 Shuyu Lin: A great night out at this pub. Located in a very nice village outside Oxford. The scenery is beautiful. It must be wonderful to be here in the summer with their outdoor seating. Will definitely come back for that. Food is great. The starter was on the small portion side. The grilled Brie was amazing!! I enjoyed my slow cooked lamb. Service was good. Price was fair - shared 3 starters among 6 of us, each had a main and a drink. Paying just under £30 per person. Overall a great experience. Highly recommend!

5 /5 Sunil Kandola: We held a wake at The Abingdon Arms for a group of over 100 people, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Katie in particular was outstanding... warm, organised and genuinely caring throughout. Her communication in the lead-up was clear and responsive, and she made everything feel smooth and manageable on the day. We were really grateful for her support. The buffet option worked very well. There was plenty of food, good quality, and topped up continuously. The staff were welcoming, attentive and professional, which helped create a relaxed atmosphere for everyone despite the pub being packed. Parking is limited directly outside the pub, but the team arranged overflow parking at Beckley Village Hall (a short walk away), which made things much easier. Overall, a thoughtful, well-run venue with staff who really go the extra mile. Highly recommended.

5 /5 Alex Young: We went for Mothers day sunday lunch and it was top notch. The food and service was great, lunch at the Abingdon Arms made our family day perfect. The feta and filo was delicious as was the Sri Lankan Cashew Curry and the roast lunches. It was a lovely sunny day and we sat out the back for a pre-meal drink, the view is lovely. Thank you for a lovely meal.

5 /5 Ian Thomas: Sitting at the bottom of Beckley village this Community run pub is a treasure of the English countryside. Located a short drive out of Oxford (10 mins) Beckley is perched above Otmoor, the RSPB Nature Reserve and the views are inspiring. The pub itself has an extensive garden which has been terraced with open air and covered tables. Inside is a wonderful example of an old Oxfordshire pub that has been wonderfully refurbished in keeping with its traditions. The toilets however are just magnificent, clean and very modern. The staff, Charlie, was in control of the front of house and doing a great job. The beer and wine selections were tremendous. I did not have anything to eat, but those around me who were, seemed to be enjoying it enormously. I am returning for pizza night on Wednesday, bookings are necessary to avoid disappointment. Its always good to support a community pub and especially one that has distinctly maintained the real traditional values of what an English pub should be in this desperately branded age of mediocrity. Returned for Wednesday pizza evening. Sitting on the decking in the sunshine with great beer and wine. Ordered a Funghi and a Spicy Pepperoni, for two obviously, and they were both just incredibly excellent pizzas. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
