Beans & Barley - (Near Haringey, South East)

5 /5 Laura Hall: Was having a really hard day today feeling homesick so decided to go to Beans and Barley for a breather. Only ordered a coffee so my son (a toddler) could use the play area. Even so the staff were so nice and interacted with my son (he was dancing to their music) and even gave him a chocolate as we were leaving. (The coffee was good too.) It helped make a hard day a little easier.

5 /5 Erkan Aydin: This is truly a wonderful café with a great atmosphere. The snacks and cocktails are excellent, and enjoying a cigar here is an absolute pleasure. The ambiance makes the whole experience even more special. Being pet-friendly is a huge plus and makes it a place you can visit anytime without hesitation. The staff are always kind and attentive, which makes every visit feel welcoming. The owner’s personal attention and warm attitude each time I come in is genuinely heartwarming. I always enjoy coming here and highly recommend it.

4 /5 Mo Mo: Super friendly staff. Large menu of brunch, lunch and dinner items along with cakes and patisserie counter. Lovely coffees. Although our breakfast arrived lukewarm, the staff replaced the eggs when we requested it. The salads were quite basic with little dressing and we gave feedback direct to the owner who was lovely and checked on us after the meal. Variety options for all dietary requirements. Incredibly friendly staff and nice seating with blankets for the indoor glass conservatory! Space for kids birthday parties.

1 /5 yusuf özkan: We arrived around 19.30. My friend and I came here to have coffee, tea, and something sweet.A lady came to take our order. I ordered herbal tea and my friend wanted a coffee. And I asked if they had a gluten-free holiday, but unfortunately, they said they didnt. We said okay and placed our orders, but two minutes later, another waitress arrived. And he said, "If youre going to sit in this place after 6:00, we only order tea and coffee." I told him you could have told him that before.Or maybe the desserts I want arent here, you already said they werent there. And this waiter came and asked us to leave the place. I was shocked. The waiter told me, "If you cant eat dessert, then eat something. This is the first time Ive seen such a ridiculous cafe."It was my first time coming to this place, but my friend had been coming to this place before, and he told me that he had been coming to this place before and this was the first time he had encountered such a situation, and I got angry.Then we left the place. Or rather, I should say I was fired. This is truly offensive to the customer. Its shameful. I wanted to explain this incident. I cant find anything to say. And here, the thing that annoys me the most is that the order is taken first and we have to leave after a few minutes and this is told in a bad language.
