Sam Fairer A fantastic meal - Sat at the bar which had a great atmosphere! Every dish was delectable, will be coming back especially for the homemade cookies - Mihai & the team looked after us so well!

Martin Bridge A very smart inn/restaurant with a great view of the river. We stopped here on our Thames Path walk on a rainy day, a little wet and muddy, along with our dog. Only had a quick drink in the lovely bar (traditional oak beam & rustic) and dried ourselves out a little over a pint. The staff were so welcoming and made us feel at home. Many thanks!!

Miss K Flavourful food, great portions and great staff. What more can you ask for? The 3 course meal was great value (£34.50) and I left feeling stuffed with leftovers. I was recommended the prawn dish by Irene and I was not disappointed. Irene made our visit special and it certainly won’t be the last time I come.

Will Sales Customer service mastery. I’d like to highlight how impressed I was at the customer service here, I’d gone in to the cafe as I’d heard great things online. I’d ordered my food from the incredibly friendly staff, unfortunately just before my food arrived I received a phone call and had to leave the cafe to attend to something urgently. The cafe manager told me not to worry and that should I come back, the food would be prepared again no cost. I did come back as I was eager to try the food and absorb the proper cafe atmosphere. True to their word the manager not only prepared my food fresh but also remembered my order exactly down to the details of which additional items I requested. Things like this make a big difference to someone’s day, it’s a reminder there are good people in the world. I will be recommending Sunrise to anyone looking for food in the area and will no doubt return myself. Thank you very much

Stacie Cole Got married here a year ago, and it was perfect. Fast forward spent our anniversary here food was gorgeous !! Looking for a roast then spread eagle has you covered !! Crab cakes starter very tasty, roast beef with all the trimmings the beef just melted in your mouth. The hotel is over 400 years old and has bucket loads of character. Quirky , comfortable and just gorgeous. If your looking for a cold, modern been there got the t shirt hotel with a average brekki this hotel is not for you. Highly recommend.

Mr. H Al Yemen restaurant was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The service was impeccably attentive without being intrusive. The food was absolutely excellent. Bursting with flavour, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Its rare to find a place where everything aligns so seamlessly. A truly perfect dining experience!
