Ally Great taste of the caribbean festival Taste of the caribbean festival was really good. Kat was a great host as usual. Seasoned professional. Food unfortunately was pretty bad. I have learnt my lesson now and dont expect much. You would hope that you could get authentic jamaican food but not great. Even a trini food stall was selling deep fried chicken chunks for kids and they were absolutely horrible. Couldnt even eat. Its not that difficult to be a genuine business selling at a family event. Just do things the right way. Other than that the rum punch was amazing again. Satisfy treats was brilliant again. Cakes and brownies were lovely. Rum cake was brilliant. Hopefully food is better next year but overall the festival it self was great again. Was great to see Richard Blackwood again. Always doing great things.

Cedric Whitlock A fantastic area to explore, offering a mix of open commons, woodlands, and peaceful lakes. It’s perfect for a long walk, a run, or a relaxed afternoon by the water. The natural beauty here is stunning, and you can often spot some wildlife, including birds and small mammals. Its a lovely spot to enjoy some peace and quiet, with the added bonus of being close to the city. Great for nature lovers and anyone seeking a break from urban life

Through dlr we started and we had jubilee line, stop is Westminster, again we got district line, stop is putney bridge and we got bus 93 and we reached Parkside hospital stop, from bus stop the museum is in walkable distance only. Staffs are very friendly. They have one video session about windmill that also very nice.

Elena Pagano Nice farm, the access is free but they really appreciate donations for helping the farm and the animals! There’s a nice little play area with wooden playground activities for kids, and close to that some picnic tables, and a nice cafe with indoor seats too. You can also buy food for feeding sheep and goats, there are several animals and there’s a chance to prebook activities to do with some of the animals (including riding horses/pony!) It’s a nice place to go to, even for a couple of hours :) Don’t forget your wellies if there’s been a rainy weather before, it can be quite muddy (but still fun!)

Kate Driskell Green oasis in an urban location. This is a good sized park thats well maintained. The perimeter path has been recently relaid, theres a well-equipped childrens play area, benches and waste bins, a covered seating area, cricket pitch, a woodland path, and even public toilets. Great little local resource!

Kol-C BeL Awesome events held. 10+ stars and superb stalls ranging from speciality foods to festive drinks! The atmosphere is truly amazing. So much for a young family to see and do! Really nice day out for all. The added bonus is there are inexpensive bakeries nearby for a quick coffee but the seating area for this event is free. So either way is optional. The staged dancing is worth stopping by for and with some supermarkets nearby you can do some shopping along the way.

K Luke (kolu) Edit: I have to remove my original review. This place isnt of any historical significance and it in fact was never any encampment ever. It is just a rumour, a folks tale. It is a quite nice local field dominated by a golf course and thats all. Move on folks, the forest next to it is far nice place to walk through.
