Joshua Simpson We went last night after not being able to get in last week and it did not disappoint, amazing food and the service was amazing, the owner and the rest of the team were lovely. Although I am moving out of brighton whenever I am back I will definitely be visiting, sad to have found this only now after living here for 2 years!!! The menu was also gluten free friendly!!

Spruce Goose Beefeater -

Explorer First of all, although the name says “Beefeater,” it’s absolutely not just about beef. The menu has a great variety of options for everyone. On this visit, I tried the veg lasagne and the butter chicken with naan — and both dishes were fantastic. The veg lasagne was honestly one of the best I’ve ever eaten. It was perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and had just the right balance of cheese, sauce, and vegetables. You can really tell care goes into the preparation. The butter chicken was also very well cooked and tasted delicious. It was slightly on the sweeter side for my preference, but it was still rich, flavourful, and enjoyable. The naan paired beautifully with it, making it a very satisfying meal overall. For dessert, I had cake with ice cream, and it was absolutely awesome — a perfect sweet ending to the meal. They also have a good selection of drinks available, and the unlimited refills on soft drinks are a great bonus. I also found out they offer unlimited breakfast for just £11, which sounds like amazing value. I’m definitely planning to go back soon to try that! On top of the great food, the vibe of the place was really nice — relaxed and welcoming. The hospitality was excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. Overall, a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Madhus Brasserie Richmond - Richmond upon Thames

Preet Jhuti My review is slightly delayed but I still wanted to make an effort to produce a review because we had such an excellent experience. It was my son’s 4th birthday and the staff and management made such a lovely effort to make the evening very special for him. The food was excellent (my children are OBSESSED with the butter chicken from here) and the service, equally as amazing. The manager of the restaurant provides such a beautiful personal service and we have been lucky to meet him previously at another branch of Madhu’s. The service he provides is so far above any expectations that we will follow him to his next branch of Madhu’s. Definitely very highly recommended by our family!

Four Feathers Uxbridge - Hillingdon

Sergeant Pepper I have had a few good meals in the Four Feathers restaurant in Iver, so I thought I’d try the Four Feathers takeaway as it’s fairly local to me. Everything about the food was delicious, certainly one of the best takeaway Indian meals I’ve had in a long time. I even had some left over for the following day’s lunch. My only issue with the Four Feathers takeaway is the kerb appeal. It is not at all inviting and would really benefit from changing the frontage from the previous tired old Chilli takeaway to a more modern shopfront which will turn people’s heads as they drive past. But the food cannot be faulted. I think I’ve found my Go to takeaway. Fast forward to a fortnight ago and I’ve discovered another problem. I had been driving all day and it was my plan to stop at the FF and pick up my dinner. As I slowed down outside the takeaway, I noticed that there was nowhere to stop and park while I went inside to order. I looked all around but to no avail. Regrettably, I was forced to go to their closest rivals and order from there.

HOKO Hong Kong Cafe - Tower Hamlets

G Honestly was very impressed with this spot, as someone who frequents Hong Kong yearly I always get the blues and cravings for cafe food whenever I’m back in the uk for too long. Firstly the interior and aesthetics are sooo clean, it depicts an olden day Hong Kong diner with the staff uniform matching the same theme too. Though there are queues lining up from opening throughout the day it seems to get progress pretty smoothly. The variety is not too big not too small so you can tell there are obvious signature dishes on the menu, I personally really like the fried squid tentacles as they were very rich in umami and crispy with the soy sauce chicken wings which are like the ones I had at home when I was younger. The portions are surprisingly also quite big and filling which is great with a side when dining with others, I personally preferred the cha siu over the pork chop as the pork chop was quite filling. Noodles were great and the egg was perfectly silky. Price wise obviously is more expensive than cha chaan tengs in Hong Kong but definitely worth the experience the nostalgia and taste of Hong Kong in London for a decent price point. They also have their in house homemade Hong Kong milk teas! Would definitely go again!!

Tim Flintan Stopped off here (party of 8 with ages from 93 to 6 months!) for lunch after visiting Sheffield Park. Fantastic place with a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were all lovely even going to the trouble of finding some crayons and paper for my granddaughter. Will definitely visit again. Thanks
