Caïna Verrin Was a nice hike through the town and across the valley of stones to reach this beautiful place. Very peaceful and no one else was around, so we could enjoy the spot without issue. Really great that it’s fairly remote and needs a bit of a hike to, which makes it a little more protected. So many Neolithic sites in the area it’s definitely worth coming to. Also friendly farmers. Highly recommend

148 Julie Worth the hike from Savernake to find the unmarked track that leads to this amazing tree - with the bonus of so many other amazing trees to see on the way. A shame it’s by such a fast and busy road, but one not to be missed! ❤️❤️❤️

Artur Kyselov Fascinating little place. You can visit it any time I believe, however, for tours you have to come at a certain time which is mentioned on the website. Nice little bit of history restored by a passionate individual. The scenery around the area is gorgeous and its close to Martinsell hill which is worth a visit as its quite close by. When looking it up on Google maps I saw what looks like crop circles in the field next door. Overall a lot of interesting places to see nearby too so would be good to make a day out of it! Have fun!

Jon Race The River is beautiful but on this day it was in Spate and it inundated the town . It is very unusual for this to happen , and Climate change is more than likely the cause .
