Lady Katie Thayer I love the colours and the different levels which makes a great place to explore there is a lift that stops at ground, first and second floor levels of the balcony thing creating a step free access opening it up to everyone. This is such an enjoyable place to be. I also enjoy being near the vents and hearing the underground Trains passing by underground.

Christopher Keeffe A small museum on the first floor of what is/was the Tourist Information Centre. The museum, modest cost c£5:00 (with concessions) tells an important aspect of the history of Rochester and nation. The Huguenots fled persecution from Franch, during war of religion. During the same period in history in England Elizabethan laws were applied by successive protestant monarch against English Catholics and other non-conformists. For a small museum, it covers a lot of history and is very informative with artifacts from the period including a bible that was baked in a loaf of bread to hide it. A wonderful and detailed dolls house a small sculpture as well a other objects use in daily, religious and medical life including a bleeding pan. The Hugonauts founded the French Protestant hospital further down the high street. Currently below the museum is displayed one of the original HMV paintings of Nipper - His Masters Voice.

Anna Pepperall We visited on a cold but clear day. A very exciting atmospheric experience. Children will love, it but you need to be good with heights. Im not, but I made myself walk up the windy but very flat staircases( with handrails) to get the wonderful views across the Medway and Rochester.

Michaela Storoschuk Honestly, skip the plaque and go up to the observatory for incredible views. It was a mission of a hill, but worth it to see the whole of London’s Northern skyline. In autumn-just perfect.

Anne Margaret White Walked through on the way to London Bridge Winter Market. Lovely decorations under and glass roof. Wished Hays on the River cocktails bar was open, but it really looked fun. Not too crowded and lots of photo ops or just space to enjoy the sites of the season. A few shops and eateries are here too, but come for the decor and views along the Thames.

TOOBA NAVEED This park is a nice spot for families, especially with kids. Even though it doesn’t have a lot of greenery, it makes up for it with well-kept swings, slides, and other play equipment that children really enjoy. The atmosphere is safe and open, giving kids plenty of space to run around and play.

8 Marron We were just spontaneously wandering in the area before entering the museum. The staff were so friendly and I loved the atmosphere of the place (also many spots of photos if you’re into that). It’s suitable for solo adventuring, coming in groups, or even families. I feel like I gained so much knowledge on the local area and also the significance of different cultural events (such as slave trade or WW2). If you’re in the canary wharf area definitely make time to visit!
