Daniela Rettore The Saatchi Gallery is always a compelling destination in London, and our visit to see “THE LONG NOW” exhibition was no exception. Overall, it was a fascinating and thought-provoking experience, especially for those interested in contemporary art that explores time, technology, and humanity’s future. The exhibition begins with a first section that feels slightly weaker in comparison to what follows. While still interesting, the initial rooms did not fully convey the impact or depth suggested by the exhibition’s ambitious theme. However, this changes dramatically once you reach the second floor, where the exhibition truly comes into its own. The second part is deeply impressive, both in terms of creativity and scale. The artworks displayed there are bold, innovative, and often monumental. Many of the installations clearly required an enormous amount of planning, technical expertise, and time to be installed, and this effort is strongly felt by the visitor. The sense of immersion is powerful, and the works invite you to slow down, reflect, and engage with complex ideas about the long-term consequences of human actions. One piece that stood out in particular was the video work by Matt Collishaw, created using artificial intelligence. The artwork depicts marine creatures that have become genetically mutated as a result of ocean pollution. It is visually stunning, unsettling, and incredibly intelligent in its use of AI as both a tool and a conceptual element. The work manages to be poetic and disturbing at the same time, leaving a lasting impression and prompting serious reflection on environmental responsibility and the future of life on our planet. In conclusion, THE LONG NOW is an exhibition that grows stronger as it unfolds, rewarding visitors who take the time to fully explore it. Despite a slightly underwhelming start, the second half makes the visit more than worthwhile. I would highly recommend this exhibition to anyone visiting London, especially those interested in contemporary art, technology, and socially relevant themes.

Pries Carsane Chelsea Bridge is famous for its unique self-anchored suspension design and its history as a popular spot for motorcyclists in the 1950s. Its also known for being the site where Julius Caesar is believed to have crossed the Thames during his invasion of Britain. Additionally, the bridge is aesthetically pleasing, with ornate pillars and floodlighting that illuminates its towers and cables at night.

Abbey Opadotun I spent some time at North Acton Playing Fields recently, and it’s a classic, expansive community hub that feels like the "active lungs" of the Acton area. While Cathnor Park is your "secret garden," this is where you go when you need space to move. The most striking thing about these fields is the sheer variety of sports on offer. On any given weekend, the place is a hive of activity with football matches, cricket in the summer, and people making use of the tennis courts. I was particularly impressed by the Pavilion; it’s a great facility that anchors the park, housing the Think & Do community space which often hosts local workshops and eco-projects, giving the park a bit more "soul" than your average playing field. If you arent there for sports, the perimeter path is a fantastic loop for a run or a brisk walk. There are some lovely pockets of wilder planting and mature trees along the edges that provide a nice buffer from the surrounding residential streets and the nearby A40. The childrens playground is also a major draw—it’s large, fenced-in, and has a good range of equipment that keeps the younger ones busy for hours.

Yuvraj Adhikari One of the best parks around! Inwood Park is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and an absolute joy to visit. Its my go-to spot for morning, day or even evening walk. Whenever I prefer a place out of city to go nearby its best for me to relax and spend time with myself or with friends.

Jessica Sinclair Aesthetically pleasing grade 2 listed building. Originally erected at Bishopsgate in 1466. At one time it was the residence of Sir Thomas More, whose statue now resides a couple of minutes walk further along Cheyne Walk. Moved and rebuilt brick by brick to its present location facing The Thames in 1910. It is not open to the public! In close proximity to Ropers Gardens, Sir Thomas Mores Gardens, Albert Bridge, Albert Bridge Gardens, Chelsea Embankment Gardens, Battersea Bridge, Battersea Park, Battersea Park Zoo, Chelsea Physic Gardens, Ranelagh Gardens, Lister Hospital, Meadowbank Nature Reserve, Grosvenor Canal, Kings Road, Sloane Square, and Pimlico. Nearest station is Sloane Square.

Ellamae Cieslik I had the pleasure of photographing Lou and Ben’s wedding at Burgh House, and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful—full of charm and character—and the team were so kind, attentive, and supportive throughout the day. Nothing was ever too much, and it was clear how much they cared about creating a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. Even with Lou and Ben’s lovely dogs, Lucky and Penny, joining in the celebrations, the team handled everything with ease and warmth. A truly special place for a wedding, and I’d love to be back at Burgh House again soon!

Carr John (Corinne and John) Very good contemporary art gallery about 10 minutes walk from Hampstead Underground Station. The building the Centre occupies was opened in 1897 as the Hampstead Central Library. It now combines historic architecture with open, modern spaces, a café, bookshop and secluded garden, with free entry for all. We visited to see the Bloomberg New Contemporaries show which included some very interesting works. The exhibition is on until 14 April 2024 and is well worth a visit.

Fitria Putri This place has a lovely house and huge grounds to enjoy. It is free entry to the grounds for walk and there is admission fee for the house. Collections inside the house are beautiful and all volunteers are so kind and informative. The architecture and paintings are extraordinary. So many things to enjoy.

Michael Ns Gunnersbury Park is a lovely green space in West London, perfect for a relaxing walk, picnic, or family outing. The park is spacious with well-kept grounds, a beautiful lake, and a historic mansion. There’s also a great playground for kids and open areas for sports or chilling with friends. Whether youre into nature, local history, or just need a peaceful break from the city noise, Gunnersbury Park offers a calm and enjoyable atmosphere.

Mark Ushie A beautiful and quiet garden in Chelsea Stanford Bridge London. This garden is adorned with beautiful roses and has benches for people to relax. It is dog friendly and has a small play section for kids. It is right inside St. Lukes Church Chelsea. This Garden is suitable for a picnic with family, and just opposite the garden, there is a local bar beautifully adorned with flowers.

karanbhai khara Visiting this place once in a lifetime feels like a dream come true. The man who sacrificed everything for his country and for the community struggling to live peacefully—being here feels like walking into history. Just one suggestion to authorities who maintain this place , can you please make sure to cover (Dr.BR.Ambedkar)spectacles,pens,books etc with glass boxes . Because it’s feel like valuables has less protection.Overall this place has well maintained, cleaned. Thank you
