M The Barbican is a sprawling residential and commercial district built in a grand brutalist style, both imposing and strangely beautiful. Recognized by Queen Elizabeth II as a unique and important development, it’s truly surreal to walk around and explore its maze-like walkways and concrete grandeur. I admit, I visited while tracking down filming locations from the Star Wars series Andor (and it’s also home to the London Symphony Orchestra, known for performing the Star Wars soundtracks!). The history and design of development itself are fascinating. Highly recommended for fans of architecture, urban planning, and Star Wars alike!

Juan Romero Lovely and unic coffee shop inside the beautiful church, nice coffee and cakes to buy, tables are inside the church and outside in the garden. No table service, you have to go yourself to the counter and pay before you get your coffee or cakes and then you have to carry to your table. It has a toilet which are fine for disabled people. The place is very beautiful!!!

J N Took a bit to track down the Golden Boy of Pye Corner at Giltspur Street and Cock Lane, but it’s such a cool find! This little 17th-century statue, marking where the 1666 Great Fire stopped, sits high on the wall with its quirky “sin of gluttony” plaque—love the contrast with the modern buildings around it

Kara Ilsley Highly recommended this. I suggest you book tickets in advance to ensure you slot, but we were able to walk in on a Saturday. The actual temple ruins has a light and sound experience, and then you are able to walk around and view it from many angles. There is also a number of audio activities available, which I would recommend to get the full experience. Staff were courteous and helpful. Bathrooms were available, and very clean. There are 2 flights of stairs down to the temple, but there seems to be lift accessibility if necessary.

Noura Elshebbah Leadenhall Market is one of London’s oldest and most beautiful markets, dating back to the 14th century. It is famous for its stunning Victorian architecture, colorful painted roofs and elegant shops. The market has a lively atmosphere and is a popular spot for both shopping and sightseeing. During our visit, they had artificial snow running, which created a magical and beautiful moment. It made the experience even more special and enjoyable.
