Doug Lawry Fascinating trip to the Forts. Very impressive fast twin hull boat. Lucky with weather so were on deck, looked like inside would have been good in rain. Have about a hundred photos! Thanks for organising, Kirsty.

Jo-anne Mathieson We expected a castle and gardens to spend hours in. Arrived, needing tea and breakfast, the cafe was clean and friendly. We chose to sit outside, just ahead of the breakfast rush. Things got busy, but still enjoyable as the tables are not too close to each other. Top tip. Ask for your bacon well done. Food was good. Coffee was ok. Whens we decided it was time to explore.... We were leaving half an hour later. The tour guide was having the morning off, so we couldnt see the house. The gardens are very small, but still quite beautiful.

Kent Bargains Lovely museum. I went to see the Rail 200 exhibition about the Crab & Winkle line from Whitstable to Canterbury in 1830. But it has a lot more interesting artefacts and information about things like oysters, fishing, Peter Cushing etc and definitely worth a visit.

Anita Laker We had the perfect day out on the Greta. We took a picnic and some drinks and we couldnt have wanted for more. The towers are eerily impressive and we got surprisingly close to them. We especially loved it when the sails went up-it was just so serene. I could wholeheartedly recommend this trip to anyone that loves boats. The 3 little dogs are very cute and kept us entertained along the way. Be aware there is a fairly long ladder to descend and ascend-I was glad to have a back pack instead of a handbag and trainers or deck shoes (I wore Converse) are a must.

Andrew Thomas Grass bank home to rows of colourful beach huts, offering pleasant coastal views over the pebble beach below. On a clear evening you can see very a dramatic sunset over the sea. Worth walking out on The Street when the tide is out and looking back at the beach huts for a different perspective on the slopes. Accessible short walks into Whitstable or longer walks towards Herne Bay. Plenty of free parking along the road (can be hard to find a space in peak season and on sunny days). Cafés and public toilets at regular intervals.
